Carla Michele Lipsey

Carla Michelle Storey Lipsey, 53, of Tifton passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Mrs. Lipsey was laid to rest at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery in Eldorado. The family received friends on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Roy Ferrell, Austin Royals, Aaron Harris, Alex Harris, Jacob Harris and Austin Harris served as pallbearers. Born April 9, 1970, in Tift County, Mrs. Lipsey was the daughter of Peggy Lewis Storey Morrow and Dwight Morrow of Tifton and the late Benjamin "Ben" Franklin Storey. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Eric Storey and one sister, Sonya Storey Tolar. She loved her grandkids; she loved cleaning, yard work and her Mountain Dew. She was a member of Union Grove Church of God in Eldorado. In addition to her mother and step-father, Mrs. Lipsey is survived by her husband, Johnny Lipsey, Jr. of Tifton; one son, Jacob Lipsey and Kaytlin Branch of Tifton; two step-daughters, Kristy Lipsey and Kellie Lipsey; two sisters, Nicole Storey of London, England and Timmy Yvonne Storey of Pavo; three grandchildren, Everleigh Branch, Karsyn Branch and Saylor Branch; six step-grandchildren, Levi, Abigail, Skylar, Kayle, Nataly and Nichole Lipsey; and several nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Celebrate Recovery, 404 Love Avenue, Tifton, Ga 31794. Bowen Donaldson Home For Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
