About C. Kohler
Mr. C. J. "Red" Kohler, aged 82, of Irons, MI, died Sunday in Ludington following a short illness. Mr. Kohler was a Lumber Salesman for Royal Oak Wholesale for 43 years til his retirement in 1967, he was a life member of the Trelum Masonic Lodge #552 F.&A.M. in Clawson, and was past President of Michigan Lumbermen Association. Surviving are his wife, Bernice; two sons, Donald and his wife Paula Kohler of Fenton, Cecil and his wife Mary Ann Kohler of Baldwin, KS; his daughter, Madalene Lickey of Seattle, WA; five grandchildren; her sister, Eoma Kraie of Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 16 at 3 pm from the McKinley Funeral Home in Grant, with Mr. David Joe Hatter officiating. Interment Hillside Cemetery under the auspices of the Newaygo Masonic Lodge #131 F.&A.M. For a memorial the family asks that you consider the Shriners Childrens Burn Center, envelopes are available at the funeral home where relatives and friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
