About C. Ell
C. Lee Harrison Ell, 77, of Venice, FL and formerly of Trappe, died on March 5, 2012 in Venice. Born in Trappe on July 22, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Oliver N. Harrison and Edith Schwaninger Harrison. Mrs. Ell was a graduate of Washington College in Chestertown. Lee and her late husband, Donald James Ell, who died in 1986, were owners of Mr. Don's Convenience Store in Cordova for many years. After moving to Florida, she worked as an office manager for the Inlets in Nokomis. Mrs. Ell loved ballroom dancing. She was a former ProAm National Salsa Dancing Champion in the Seniors Division. She is survived by a sister, Jane Wilder of Venice, FL; a brother Edgar Harrison and his wife Joanna of Trappe and six step children, John Ell, Bernadette Williamson, Virginia Chaires, Donald Ell, Eric Ell, and Robert Ell. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 200 S. Harrison St., in Easton. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Whitemarsh Cemetery on Route 50 in Trappe.
