Obituary edited by family member: (Permission given from the family) Bobby Lee Adams, 81, of Gerrardstown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at City Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Born on September 25, 1940 in Gerrardstown, WV, he was the son of the late John Adams and Ivy Mae (Faircloth) Adams. He was married to the love of his life, Charm Marie "Aunt Peewee" Faircloth on December 5, 1959. She passed away in 2013. He was one of those people who welcomed everybody to his place and was willing to help others, expecting very little in return. He is survived by 7 children, Ellen Haase of Martinsburg, Daniel (Glenn Sweitzer) Adams of Martinsburg, Roxanne (Bob) Cunningham of Martinsburg, Roger (Diane) Adams of Gerrardstown, Tony Adams of Martinsburg, Dawn (Randy) Williams of Inwood, and Nancy (Joe) Black of Fairbank, PA; 16 grandchildren, Jessie Haase of Martinsburg, Mark (Heather) Haase of Boonsboro, MD, Michael (Mary) Haase of Gerrardstown, Oscar 'Bill Bo' (Emily) Harris Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Anthony Harris of Mineola, TX, Scott (Marirose) Adams of Hamilton, OH, Jerry (Melissa) Dillow of Martinsburg, David J. (Vanessa) Shank of Stephens City, VA, Tracey (George) Adams of Inwood, Eric Adams of Gerrardstown, Brittany (Aaron) Beckett of Inwood, David (Veronica) Donivan Jr. of Martinsburg, John (Tiffany) Donivan of Gerrardstown, Angel (Dale) Yeargain of McClellandtown, PA, Farah Smith of Fairbank, PA, and David Black of Fairbank, PA; 23 great-grandchildren, Lars Haase and Tyler Haase of Martinsburg, Landyn Haase, Kamryn Haase, Brayden Haase and Brantley Haase of Gerrardstown, Blake Harris and Holly Harris of San Angelo, TX, Gregory Abney of Hamilton, OH, Justin Dillow, Lakota Dillow and Dakota Parrish of Martinsburg, David Shank Jr. and Patience Shank of Gerrardstown, McKayla Turner and Alexis Turner of Martinsburg, Sarah Donivan and Joseph Beckett of Inwood, Dixie Donivan and Cherokee Donivan of Martinsburg, Shyann Donivan and Jacob Donivan of Gerrardstown, Riley Yeargain and Averie Yeargain of McClellandtown, PA; one brother, George (Carolyn) Adams of Gerrardstown; and one sister, Maxine Caton of Gerrardstown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charm Faircloth Adams; 2 sons, David Lee (Gaye) and Joseph Lee Adams; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Wayne Harris, Brady Adam Smith, and 4 infant children of Nancy Black; 2 great-grandchildren, Heather Charise Harris and James Austin Harris; 6 siblings, Janet (Vincent) Barrett, Harry (Lucille) Adams Sr., William Adams, Elsie (John) Brown, Eugene (Louise) Adams, Garnett (Ramona) Adams; a brother-in-law Marvin Caton, son-in-laws Kent Haase and Bill Grove; 14 nephews and nieces, a grand-nephew and grand-niece, and many cousins. He truly touched the hearts of everyone he met and will be missed dearly. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Burial at Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery
