Betty Ann Jackson

Betty Jean Jackson was born to the late Bishop Charles and Missionary Maybell Jenkins on August 26, 1951, in Barnwell, SC. She confessed a love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and joined the First Born Church of the Living God, Titusville, FL. She continued a faithful relationship with God until the end. Jean attended Andrew J. Gibson High School and later graduated from Titusville High School in 1969. She continued further studies at Jones Business College in Orlando, FL and obtained a Business degree in 1974. She became employed by Bendix Corporation, contractor support for Launch Operations at Kennedy Space Center, FL, in 1972, then later employed by Brevard County Health Department, Titusville, FL. She was united in marriage, moved to the state of Washington and later divorced from Marlo Jackson of Jacksonville, FL and during that union one child was born, Marlon Jackson, Austin, TX. On Saturday, November 7, 2015, Betty Jean Jackson peacefully transitioned from this world to eternal rest after her battle with lung cancer. Jean was preceded in death by her parents Bishop Charles and Missionary Maybell Jenkins, and Brother Charles Jenkins, Jr. She leaves to cherish the precious memories of her life: Marlon Jackson, son, Austin, TX; five sisters: Ann Moore (Fred), Titusville, FL; Mary Lemmon, Port St, John, FL; Delores Jenkins, Palm Bay, FL; Freddean Love (Michael), Jacksonville, FL; Juliet Jenkins, Merritt Island, FL; two brothers: Alvin Jenkins (Kimberly) and Allen Jenkins, Titusville, FL; ten nieces and nephews: Shaun Gary, Kianga Cadet (Tige'), Quinisha Jenkins, Anthony Lemmon, Marcus Jenkins, Michelle Love, Lauren Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Monique Love and Alvin C. Jenkins; and a host of loving relatives and sorrowing friends.
