About Betty Dadswell
Betty Lou (Basney) Dadswell, 89 passed away on December 2, 2020 at her daughter's home in Brunswick, Maine. Born in Blanchard, Michigan on October 14,1931 to Joseph and Christina Basney, she also lived in Asheville, North Carolina and Seminole, Florida. Betty is survived by her children; Mary Madsen, George Dadswell, Teresa Lowe, and Martin Dadswell, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband George Dadswell and son David Dadswell. Internment will be in the spring of 2021 in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in Betty's memory to Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry, PO Box 235, Black Mountain, NC 28711. Published in Asheville Citizen-Times from Dec. 8 to Dec. 13, 2020.
