About Barbara Abrahamson
Barbara M. Abrahamson, 102, longtime Deerfield resident, passed away in Glenview on April 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved Harry in 1957. She was a devoted and loving mother to Grant (Cheryl), Christina (David) Reynolds, and the late William. Cherished grandmother of Liesl and Eric Abrahamson and Mark (Erica) Reynolds, Megan Reynolds and Lauren (William) Sawatsky and great grandmother of Emma and Luke Reynolds and Harrison and Oliver Sawatsky. Dear mother-in-law to Sheila. She was predeceased by her 4 sisters and 2 brothers, but will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23rd from 9:00 am until time of funeral Mass 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church, 724 Elder Ln., Deerfield, IL. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Atlantic-Midwest Province, 345 Belden Hill Rd., Wilton, CT 06897.
