About Barbara Abbott
Barbara Mae (Bundy) Abbott, 85, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Black River Memorial Hospital, Black River Falls, surrounded by her family. She was born June 11, 1929 to Frank and Elsie (Brunhoefer) Bundy in Beloit, Wisconsin. Barbara was united in marriage to Robert Abbott, Sr., on February 9, 1948 in Beloit. Together they moved to Black River Falls is 1970. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2000. She worked at the The Pines of Black River Falls, Habelmans Cranberry Marsh of Millston, Wisconsin, and various other jobs throughout the years. Barbara enjoyed playing cards, reading the bible, puzzle books, sitting outside, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by 8 children, Judy (Nelson) Rolon, Robert Jr. (Karen) Abbott, Geraldine Konkol, Terry (Barbara) Abbott, Timothy (Sara) Abbott, Danny (Tina) Abbott, Brenda Abbott, and Linda (Frank) Lawver; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sr.; parents, Frank and Elsie; grandson, Danny Jr. “DJ”; great grandson, Caleb Pann; sisters, Patty Fredrick, Laura Jean Barrett, Beatrice Boschi, June Broderson, and Rosemary Luethy; brothers, David and Jack Bundy; son-in-law, Arnold Konkol. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015, 10:00 a.m., at Buswell Funeral Home (715-284-2231), Black River Falls. Allen Skroch will be officiating. Burial will follow in Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin. Buswell Funeral Home
