About B. Rupp
B. Jean Rupp, 91, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, November 1st, at Manor Care - Laureldale. Betty Jean was born in Reading, on November 7, 1925, a daughter of the late Lucy (Strunk) and Arthur Saylor. She was the widow of Robert E. Rupp. Mr. Rupp died May 29, 1986. Mrs. Rupp graduated from Reading High School in 1943. She worked as a clerk for Aetna Insurance and at the Fairgrounds Farmers Market. B. Jean is survived by a daughter, Deborah J., wife of John Hoyer, of Reading. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Tyler, husband of Maggie Giles, and Kyle, husband of Brynn Giles; and 2 great-grandchildren: Jenna and Frankie Giles. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7th at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. The Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1501 North 11th Street, Reading, is in charge of the arrangements. Published in Reading Eagle on Nov. 3, 2017
