Anthony D. La Licata

Born to Eternal Life October 29th, 2022 at the age of 52. Loving and devoted husband to Tricia La Licata of 28 years. Father, role model, and hero to Amanda (Tommy) Stark, Kayla La Licata, Anthony La Licata Jr, and Nino La Licata. Beloved son of MaryAnn and the late Tony La Licata. Newly Nonno of Miabella Stark. Loving brother to Mary (Asael) Amaya, and Gina (Rafael) LaLicata de Garcia. Special uncle to Antonio, and Lucas Amaya, Sofia, Eva, and Marco Garcia. Further survived by many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tony had a larger-than-life personality. He loved to the extreme and worked so hard to provide for his immediate and extended family. Since his father's passing, his dream was to take the family business to new levels, he did just that. He was a caring and loving son and had a very special bond with his mom. Tony and his wife Tricia met when they were 18 years old. From the beginning they had a crazy and passionate relationship. They loved each other fiercely and will forever hold each others hearts. Together they were blessed with four wonderful children. First he had his two girls and was determined to be the best girl dad teaching them to hunt and finish concrete. Later, he was blessed with two boys and shared his love for the art of concrete just like his own father did for him. He was so incredibly proud of the family he started and raised. Nothing brought a bigger smile to his face. Whoever knew Tony, knew the first thing he talked about was his wife and children, and the love he had for his entire family. In addition, he was a father figure and mentor to many children and young adults. His advice and words of wisdom will be remembered and cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was the employer to many dedicated and loyal employees who he dearly loved and appreciated. He was a proud and generous business man, who donated his service to his community multiple times. He was wise, honest, and full of life. He will be incredibly and sadly missed by all who were touched by his one of a kind personality and contagious smile. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, S89 W22650 Milwaukee Ave., Big Bend on Friday, November 4 at 1:30 PM. Visitation at the HARDER FUNERAL HOME, Thursday, November 3 from 4:00 PM concluding with a Prayer Vigil Service and time of remembrance at 7:00 PM. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
