Abbott on 29 Dec 1950 at Cook County, IL Father: Robert A Hammar Mother: Frances Simon Anne Frances Abbott, 91, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on July 16, 2006. Born May 6, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois she moved to Phoenix upon her husband's retirement in 1979. Anne is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Bert, her son, David and her brother, Bud. She is survived by her son, George of Phoenix, a step-daughter Joan Crook of Clearwater, Florida, her sister, Laverne Lowey of Washington, brothers, Lawrence of Chicago, and Bill of Florida, grandchildren Amy Abbott, Keri Abbott, Michelle Crook, Carol Donahue, Thomas Crook II, as well as two great-grandchildren, Sharon and Kevin Donahue. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 11300 N. 64th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 19, 2006. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix. Arrangements by Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, 85014.
