About Anna Rabidoux
WINOOSKI, VT. - Anna Priscilla (Langlois) Rabidoux, a resident of Colonial Gardens in Florence, Kentucky since 2004, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2nd 2018 at the age of 103. Anna was born on October 19th 1914 in Winooski, Vt., she was the daughter of Henri and Angelina (Thibodeau) Langlois, she was the second youngest of eight children. She married Wilfred Joseph Rabidoux on May 31st 1941 in Winooski, Vermont. He predeceased her on January 4th 1969. Anna spent her working career in the Textile Industry starting at the American Woolen Mill and then as a very talented Seamstress for Prudenzano, Robert Hall, and Shepard & Hamelle until she retired at the age of 70. When not working, Anna enjoyed gardening and maintained a large vegetable and flower garden until age 89. Her gardens were the envy of her neighborhood. Anna led a very devout Christian life, her Catholic faith was extremely important to her. She was predeceased by her parents; her father Henri Langlois on November 30th 1945 and her mother, four brothers; George "Gilbert" Gilbert Langlois on July 13th 1915, Sylva Joseph Langlois on April 28th 1968, Alfred "Arsene" Arsene Langlois on October 17th 1978, and Joseph O. Langlois in 1986, and three sisters; Alice G. (Langlois) Chicoine on October 15th 1995, Eva Cecile (Langlois) Letourneau on January 24th 1999, and Ida Vivian Langlois on November 23rd 1995. A memorial service and burial will take place in Winooski Vt. at a date to be determined.
