About Anna Abate
Anna May Abate (nee MacAfee); 8/3/40 -2/13/19. It is with great sadness that the family of Anna May Abate announce her passing on February 13, 2019 at the age of 78. Anna May will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Rocco and her children, Frank (Alysia), Rocky (David), and Paul (Katie). Anna May will also be fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren, Kaitlin (Chris), Elyssa (Chris), Gabrielle, Olivia, Chloe, Allison, Kayla, and two great-grandchildren Chloe and Liam. Anna May will also forever be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Anna May made sure thousands of kids were served lunch with a smile for over 25 years working at West Deptford High School Cafeteria. She enjoyed seeing her grandkids whenever possible, having nights out with her girlfriends once a month, and spending quality time with her husband. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 10am to 11am at Holy Angels Parish Worship Center, 96 Green Ave, Woodbury, NJ 08096. A Mass of Christian Burial 11am at the Worship Center. Entombment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME of Deptford.
