About Angelyn Cade
Angelyn J. Cade, 104, of Nashwauk, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. She was born Feb. 6, 1909, to Joseph and Katherine (Preblich) Sterbenz in Bigfork. She had been a resident of Nashwauk for over 60 years. She held many jobs throughout her life, and co-owned and operated the Hilltop Gift Shop in Nashwauk. She loved her flower gardens, working in the yard, baking and taking her dog for a walk. Angelyn is survived by her daughter, Jackie Cade; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Cade in 1953; parents, Joseph and Katherine (Preblich) Sterbenz; brothers: Rudy and Joe Sterbenz; and sisters: Rose Saylor, Anne Latterell, Marie Casey, Josephine Mitchell, Katie Stimac and Helen Sterbenz. Burial was in the Nashwauk Cemetery in Nashwauk.
