About Amos Jackson
Amos Lee Jackson of Patterson, New Jersey, formerly of Ochlocknee, Georgia, died June 29 in Paterson. He was born Dec. 3, 1931, in Ochlocknee, Ga.,the of John and Arthie Boone Jackson. February 23, 1950, he married to Dorothy Mae Dickens, who preceded him in death. Mr. Jackson had lived in Paterson for 50 years and retired from Whippany Paper Mill and Atlantic Casting Co. He attended the Ochlocknee School System and was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Ochlocknee and Chief Cornerstone Church in Patterson where he served as a deacon in both churches. He is known as dad, granddad, pear shape, great-gramps and junebug. Amos leaves behind, four daughters, Cynthia (Michael), Cheryl (Jim), Janice (Allen), Cheanese; two sons, Andrew (Rhonda) and Jeffrey; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great-children; four sisters, Luvenia, Annettee, Angeline, Vera and one brother, John; many nieces, and a special niece, Antilnal; nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Dickens Jackson; and his children, Willie and Genease Jackson .
