About Albir Abrahim
Albir Shahadah Abrahim, 75, husband of Laila Salti Aweimrin Abrahim died Sunday at St. Joseph – East in Lexington, KY. Born Sept. 15, 1939 in Yaffa, Palestine, he was the son of the late Shahadah and Frida Judah Abrahim. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Sean, Michael, Maher, and Elias Abrahim; four daughters, Taghreed Samaan, Diana MarJi, Enas Bendeck and Lames Thomas; fourteen grandchildren; three brothers, Abrahim, Nakhleh, and Munir; and one sister Clair Abrahim. His children remember him as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed dearly, may he forever rest in peace. Funeral services will be 1 PM Tue. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 153 Barr St., Lexington, KY 40507 by Rev. John List, with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery.
