About Agnes Case
Agnes L. Case, 93, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. Agnes Leona Case was born June 5, 1929, to Jules and Helen (Bouckaert) Anseeuw on the family farm near Minneota, MN. As the first born, she quickly became her dad's right hand. Also aiding neighbors and relatives whenever needed. Employment beyond the farm included candling eggs and proofreading for the local newspaper. After a short marriage and tragically becoming a young widow, she moved to Fargo, ND, and proudly began working for the Standard Oil Company. She was transferred in 1956 to Minneapolis, MN. There, she met and married Darrell Case. They transferred again in 1959 to Moorhead, bought their first and second homes, and raised a family of three children. Agnes enjoyed dancing, bowling, gardening, puzzles, playing cards and bingo…and she was good at all of them. She loved interacting with others. Agnes was also an Avon Representative for over 40 years. After 49 years of marriage, Agnes lost her husband, Darrell. She lived independently for many years following, still enjoying cards and bingo. Agnes passed away at Eventide on 8th in Moorhead, MN. She is survived by her three children, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her sister. She was preceded in death by her first husband, parents, brother, and husband.
