A. J. Young, 80, of Greenhead, FL died Nov 4, 2009 at the Washington Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born in Hilton, GA on Jul 29, 1929 to Willie and Mattie Young and lived in Greenhead for the past 15 years, coming from Southport, FL. He was also a member of the Trinity Holiness Church in Southport. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Gladys Young of Greenhead, FL; 5 sons, William J. Young and wife Sherrie of Panama City, FL, Billy Ray Young and wife Linda Kay of Southport, FL, Robert Clay Young of Panama City, FL, Donnie Earl Young and wife Jeannie of Sunny Hills, FL, and Ronnie Lynn Young of Fountain, FL; 3 daughters, Patricia Sue Ruthleford of Panama City, FL, Judy Berrington and husband Dennis of Vernon, FL, and Tammy Taylor of Greenhead, FL; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services were held Nov ? at the Trinity Holiness Church with Revs. Winford King, Nixon Riley and Sandra Holly officiating. Burial followed in the Southport Cemetery with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, FL directing.
