About A Cross
A. Mae Cross A. Mae Cross, 89, formerly of Oak Street, Parkersburg, died Nov. 10, 2002, at Worthington Manor Nursing Facility. She was born in New England, W.Va., a daughter of the late Edward S. and Bertha V. Henry Cross. Mae was a member of the First Christian Church and worked in the nursery at the church for over 20 years. She had worked at American Viscose and Storck's Bakery and retired from the YWCA, where she worked in the nursery. She is survived by one sister, A. Faye Cross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard A. Cross. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Pastor Mike Goff officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.
